Even at a Whole Foods, Greenwise or otherwise, the options for prepared foods are often less than savory. One of the world’s top rated restaurants, the Fat Duck in the UK, has released a series of gourmet prepared meals for the Waitrose supermarkets. Heston from Waitrose Supermarket Gourmet includes prepared pot pies, sauces, salts, dressings and otherwise for the refined British consumer. We love the concept, but adore the packaging even more. It’s a shame we’re not closer to try some of these ourselves– the vanilla mayonnaise, the steak and ale pie and the mustard and shallot dressing sound delectable.
